Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actor or musician as well as playback vocalist for Tamil films and Malayalam film. Her debut as an actress was the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah has been raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's dad was an Madras High Court lawyer. Her younger sister is a research assistant from Belgium and works in Leuven. Jeremiah was raised within Chennai. He attended National Public School. After graduation, he studied at Women's Christian College. Andrea was a classical piano lessons at age eight years old, was classified as a "geek" and aspired to be a psychiatric nurse until the 12th grade exam. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. The group was the beginning of her musical and singing career. Additionally, she worked as an actor in the college. She served as the head of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She was featured in the 2006 leo coffee commercial alongside Shiva. She also acted in a TV show which airs on Podhigai. The actress performed all over India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). Following her performance of a song for Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu she was asked to appear as one of the lead female characters in his upcoming film Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani who is a wife and mother to a man who has an affair. Andrea was selected for the part following Simran and Tabu both actresses were contacted by the producers. This film released in early 2010, In 2011, she agreed to take on a small part in the multi-starrer film of Venkatprabhu Mankatha and it was came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum directed by Rajeeev Ravi, the romantic comedy film she debuted in Malayalam with was released on August 11, 2013.
