Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur IL on the 23rd day of July in 1971. LeAnnekymes and she were both among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. As a teenager, she began her journey into the music scene and was a winner of local contests from the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album at the age of fourteen years of age. She was signed in 1985 with Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. After that, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings together. The first album she released together as a group came out in 1989.
